CMS (Ret.) William "Bill" Joseph Biggie passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on October 25, 1946, in Erie, PA, Bill lived a life marked by dedication, service, and an unwavering love for his family and community. He was the son of the late Joseph and Florence Biggie.
Bill honorably served in the United States Air Force for 34 years, achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. His commitment and leadership in the military exemplified the highest standards of excellence and integrity. Even after retirement as well as before retiring, Bill continued to inspire those around him with his passion for cars, dirt track racing, and Nascar, often bringing joy and laughter with his keen sense of humor. He loved vacationing with his family, especially the RV trips, even if it was just a short trip to Chattanooga.
He is survived by his devoted spouse, Maria Biggie; his beloved sons, Robert Biggie, Carl Larsen and his wife, Jessica, and Roland Larsen and his wife, Victoria; his cherished daughter, Rebecca Biggie and her husband, Joseph; and his dear sister, Debbie McChesney and her husband, Bruce. He is also survived by grandchildren, C.J., Liam, Landon, Melody, Rodney, Grace, Lucas, and Helena. Bill's love for his family was boundless, and he leaves behind a legacy of strength and warmth that will forever resonate in their hearts. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Petrocco.
The family cordially invites family and friends to a visitation on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 680 W Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA, 30132, with Rev. Fr. Adrian Pleus officiating. Bill will be laid to rest at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA, with Military Honors at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made in Bill's memory to the Alzheimer's Association at www.donorservices.alz.org.
