Claire Brown Lacour

Claire Brown Lacour, passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on February 22, 1945, in New Orleans, LA, to the late William and Mary Louise Brown, Claire lived her life with an infectious zest for adventure and a deep love for her family.

Growing up, Claire was a remarkable athlete. She loved playing racquetball, basketball, and softball, just to name a few. Swimming and fishing were among her favorite activities, and she cherished every moment spent outdoors. Her passion for life extended beyond sports - Claire's warmth and affection for her family were evident to all who knew her.

in addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 6 siblings.

Claire is survived by her loving husband of more than 55 years, Gary Lacour, her son Frank Lacour, daughter-in-law, Holly Lacour, two grandsons, Decker Lacour and Dash Lacour; sister, Mary Springer and host of extended family and friends.

Rest in peace, Claire. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.

A graveside service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia on Monday, April, 13, 2026 at 9:30 AM.
