Charles Thomas "CT" Warren Jr passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the age of 78.
Born in Dallas, GA on October 5, 1947. CT was raised in the New Georgia Community by his mother Annie Ruth Davis; and his aunt and uncle, Joe and Geneva Scoggins. He lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his faith and family.
CT wore many hats throughout his life-Husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, US Marine, truck driver, developer, and Associate Pastor at Gateway Baptist Church in Villa Rica, GA. The things he was the most proud of In his life was his wife, children, grandchildren, and the building and development of Gateway Baptist Church. When God put that on his heart he knew he has a mission to fulfill and in that mission he forever took part in the change of so many that will be and have been lead to Christ. For that alone we hope Jesus says "Well done Chicken Man, Get in here!" CT had a remarkable gift for making friends feel like family, and he radiated kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and joy. Whether he was pulling someone's leg or sharing a good joke, his laughter was truly contagious.
CT is preceded in death by his son, Barry Dewayne Warren; his mother, Annie Ruth Davis; his grandparents, Barney and Effie Parsons; his Aunt and Uncle, Joe and Geneva Scoggins; and his cousins Janice Harris, Danny and Kay Palmer.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 59 years, Deidra Warren; his sons, Brad Warren and Joey (Gina) Warren; his grandchildren, Roman (Danielle) Warren, Ella Warren, JB Warren, and Lilly Kaye Warren; his great-grandchildren, Rowan Warren and Daniel Warren; his daughter-in-law, Carla Warren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
CT leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him. Rest in peace, dear Pawpaw!
