Charles "Charlie" Franklin Lambert, age 85, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025. He was born on November 7, 1939, in Maryville, Tennessee, to the late Floyd and Jenny Lambert.
Charlie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his faith, his country, and-most of all-his family. Professionally, he dedicated nearly 50 years of his life as a supervisor at Vulcan Materials, where he was admired for his strong work ethic, steady leadership, and loyalty.
A passionate fan of the Atlanta Braves, Charlie also held a lifelong love for the Tennessee Volunteers. He enjoyed raising chickens-a simple pleasure that brightened his days and delighted those around him.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his son, Richie Lambert; his brother, Daniel Lambert; and his sisters, Estelle Rasor, Analee Myers, and Nanny Best.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Barbara Lambert; sons, Mike (Tina) Lambert and Danny (Paula) Lambert; daughter, Kim (Rodney) Matiak; and sister, Norma Tomlin. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Courtney (Ladd) Yeomans, Jessica (Jesse) Scott, Abbey (Adam) Camara, Lauren (Ryan) Parrott, Kayla (Bryan) Bonds, Kylie Lambert, Seth Lambert, and Spike (Madison) Matiak; 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Don Nichols officiating.
Interment will immediately follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth, GA, with Seth Lambert, Corey Matiak, Bryan Bonds, Ryan Parrott, Ladd Yeomans and Jesse Scott serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Rodney Matiak.
We invite all who knew and loved Charlie to join us in honoring his memory. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
