Carolyn Gaston

Carolyn Lee Gaston, 81, passed away on May 20, 2024 in Dallas, Georgia. She was born on July 6, 1942, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Albert and Elizabeth Blackburn.

Carolyn's warm and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of many. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether planting flowers in her garden, preparing delicious meals in the kitchen, or spending leisurely afternoons exploring local boutiques. Her love and compassion knew no bounds, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind her brother, Michael Blackburn; a daughter, Angela Vandecar; sisters, Sylvia Price, and Clara Stanridge; grandchildren Victoria Vandecar, Valerie Vandecar, Douglas Vandecar, and Kenneth Vandecar, as well as great-grandchildren Kendel, Cali, and Richard.

Friends and family are invited to join in remembering Carolyn's life at the Clark Funeral Home on May 23, 2024. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am, with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
