Carl Edwin "Skeet" Jones, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on March 4, 1963, in Atlanta, GA, to his loving parents, Carlos Jones and the late Shelvie Jones, Skeet lived a life filled with adventure, laughter, and deep love for the people around him.
Skeet was a skilled electrician, with a successful career spanning over 50 years of dedication and service to his clients. He was known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit, he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. A proud family man, he treasured every moment spent with those he loved most.
Outside of work, Skeet found joy in drag racing, dirt biking, and fishing. He loved the freedom of the open road, whether riding his motorcycle or racing alongside friends. His heart was as big as his love for dogs, and he especially cherished sunny days at Panama City Beach, a place that brought him peace and happiness.
Skeet is preceded in death by his mother, Shelvie Jones, and his brother, Randall Lee.
He is survived by his loving wife, Renee Jones; his sons, Wesley (Emma) Willbanks and Matthew Jones; his daughter, Kristi Willbanks; his grandchildren, Jenna Jones, Maddie Willbanks, Gracie Willbanks, Charlotte Willbanks, and Walker Willbanks; his father, Carlos Jones; his mother, Shelvie Jones; his sister, Kathy (Tony) Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
