Brian McBrayer

November 19, 1957 — December 3, 2025

Mr. Brian F. McBrayer, age 68, passed away on December 3, 2025, in Hiram, Georgia. He was born on November 19, 1957, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Mrs. Shirley C. McBrayer and the late Claude B. McBrayer. Brian was married to the late Deidri McBrayer for 39 amazing years before her passing in 2021. Brian was a loving husband and father, a devoted brother, and a cherished son.

Brian dedicated his life to education, inspiring countless students as a beloved teacher in the Paulding County School System. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Jacksonville State University and took pride in shaping young minds. When he wasn't in the classroom, Brian could often be found on the water with his sailboat. Camping and fishing were his other great passions, offering him peace in the great outdoors, whether at the beach or in the mountains. Ft. Walton Beach and Daytona were particularly special to him, as they offered joyful memories of sun and surf.

Soccer was one of Brian's greatest passions. He loved watching his children play the game; it was a family affair that everyone enjoyed. He was also an avid fan of the Atlanta United. He was also a longtime lover of classic rock music, always ready to share a good tune or reminisce about his favorite bands.

Brian is survived by his son, Kevin McBrayer, and daughter, Kris (Wesley) Whigham, and his brother, Brad McBrayer. He will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and the joy he brought to those around him.
