Brenda Thomason

Brenda Ellen Thomason passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 72. She was born on November 7, 1951, in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Daniel and Helen Thomason. Brenda was a faithful member of Narroway Baptist Church where she was a faithful and devoted servant to our Lord and Savior. She was incredibly talented at sewing and enjoyed sharing her craft with others. Brenda was a joy to be around and very loving towards all. You always knew Brenda by her laugh, and she kept everyone's spirits high when they were near her. Brenda loved her family deeply and she was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Brenda is preceded in death by her biological parents, Daniel Layfette Thomason and Helen Ray Thomason; her parents who raised her, Raymond and Lestea Thomason; and her siblings, Wayne Thomason, Jerry Thomason, Linda Hammond, Gail Cole, Billy Ray Thomason; and great-granddaughter, Amelia Wallace.

She is survived by her daughter, Miranda Nolte and her fiancé, Terry McCue; her son, Justin Lewis; brothers, Ronnie (Darlene) Thomason, David Thomason, Kenny Thomason; grandchildren, Nicholas (Alicia) Nolte, Kayla Lowe and Jeremy Payne; great-grandchildren, Ellen Wallace, William Wallce, and Kinsley Nolte; and cousins, Lynn Shipp and Joan Ratteree.

A graveside service will be held at Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts officiating.
