Brenda Lankford

Brenda Wallace Lankford, age 81, of Powder Springs, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Brenda was born in Porterdale, Ga, and was the daughter of the late Freeman and Margaret Wallace. The family is receiving friends on Monday, January 5th, at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 6th, 2:00 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church in Dallas, with Rev. Travis Warren officiating. Brenda will lie in state at the Church beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service in the Church Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers are Hayden Lankford, Ben Lankford, Wes Lankford, Logan Lankford, James Lankford, and Ronald Lankford.

Brenda had retired from Coats & Clark Textile after many years, where she worked on the Spinner Frame. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who provided a loving home for her family and their friends. Brenda enjoyed antiquing, yard sales, and spending time with her family.

Brenda is survived by her beloved husband, Waymon Lankford, son Barry Lankford and his wife Kristi, grandsons Hayden Lankford, Ben Lankford, Wes Lankford, and Logan Lankford. There are also three great-grandchildren surviving, Caleb, Sadie, and Arabella.
