Bobby Gene Cantrell

Bobby Gene Cantrell, age 87, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Tranquility of Kennesaw Mountain. Mr. Cantrell was born on March 11, 1933 to his late parents; John “Willie” and Ruby Cantrell. Bobby was the President and Co. owner of Tri-state Structures for more than 20 years, President of Paulding Builders for 7 years, and was a Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his loving wife; Margaret Marie Cantrell and sisters; Donna Smallwood and Geraldine Palmer. Bobby was a loving husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, and friend who will missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by his son; Jon Kevin (Kim) Cantrell of Dallas, GA., sister; Lee Nation of Marietta, GA., grandson; Daniel Ross Cantrell of Hiram, GA., along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Cantrell will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 3:00 PM graveside at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 2:45 at Clark Funeral Home.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Cantrell safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
