Bob Denham, age 88, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015. He was born on March 11, 1926, in San Antonio, TX, to the late William & Lillie Denham, and was preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Lynn Denham. Mr. Denham was a retired United States Navy Veteran serving in World War II and the Korean War, and also retired as a signal man for CSX Railroad. In his younger days he worked on the King Ranch in Texas and also worked at Lockheed from 1967-1973 building the C-S and C-130 Aircrafts.
Survivors include children, Angela Denham of Winston, GA, Patricia Lee Denham-Flood of Marietta, GA, Michael Wayne Denham of Marietta, GA, and Eva Swafford of Florida; sister, Anna May Baldwin of Stockdale, TX, ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 10 AM, at Clark Funeral Home, with family members and friends officiating. Interment will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 12:30 PM, from Georgia National Cemetery. Donnie Gwin, Lamont Arnold, Mike Denham, Neil Denham, Isaiah Denham and Noah Denham will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
