Billy Vernon Willoughby

Billy Vernon Willoughby, age 76, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away at his residence Friday, December 4, 2020. He was born on February 20, 1944 in Austell, GA, to his late parents; Lidge Vernon Willoughby and Mary Nell Willoughby. Mr. Willoughby worked as a maintenance worker at ABM for over 30 years until his retirement. Billy was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved sisters; Barbara and Marilyn, brothers; Dennis and Randy.

Mr. Willoughby is survived by his loving wife Barbara J. Willoughby, daughters; Audria Gay and Abel of Texas, Jeanne Lynn Willoughby of Lithia Springs, GA, son; Billy Vernon Willoughby Jr. of Hiram, GA, daughter; Leandra Higgenbottom of Douglasville, GA, brothers; Buster Willoughby, Ronnie Willoughby, and Tony Willoughby, grandchildren; Christopher, Christian, Kenley, Chance, Chandler, Chelsee, Nathanel, Bradley, great-granddaughter; Novalie.

Per Mr. Willoughby’s request, he was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
