Mrs. Beverly Moore Kelly, age 77 of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025.. She was born March 26, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late John Wesley Moore and the late Marry Ethel Mullins Moore.
Beverly was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was blessed with a large family and many others who she considered her family. Other than being a wonderful daughter, the best mom/grandmother, sister, and friend, one of her favorite things she did was teaching early morning seminary to high school youth. Beverly, who most people knew as "Nanny", was a true example of the Savior's Love. To know her was to love her and be loved by her. Beverly was very talented and could do anything she set her mind to doing from cooking her famous Dressing and many other delicious dishes, playing/coaching girls softball, sewing gorgeous wedding dresses, and even repairing a leaky toilet. She loved "doing for and helping others", she led a very active life and loved her family more than anything, she always had a way of no matter who you were, making you feel "Loved".
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry James Kelly, Sr. to whom she was married 31 years; and two grandsons, Matthew Yandow and Kevin Tatum.
She is survived by two daughters, Kris (David) Tatum and Tonya (Scott) Davidson; two sons, James (Elizabeth) Kelly and Philip (Shannon) Kelly; sister, Judy (Alan) Shinall; brother, Wesley (Judy) Moore; 22 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
