Betty Pace, 85, of Dallas, GA entered into rest on Friday, July 31, 2020.  She was born on February 7, 1935 in Dallas, GA to the late Charlie Herman and Bertia Lee Wood. Mrs. Pace worked as a special needs bus monitor with the Paulding County School System for more than 10 years and was a member of the 2nd Baptist church of Dallas GA. She was also an avid sports participant in tennis, softball, golf, bowling, etc. and her favorite team was the Atlanta Braves.  Betty was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed by many.

Mrs. Pace is survived by her sons, Gene Pace (Sherry) of Dallas Ga, Sean Pace of Dallas Ga; daughters, Tonia (Tony) Lambert of Dallas GA, Valerie (Ed) Bagwell of Dallas, GA; Brother Randy Wood of Yorkville GA; Sister Mary Hayes of Bremen GA; twelve grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Horace Gene Pace Sr., her brother Jerry H Wood and sister Carol Dutton

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11:00 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Hiram, GA with Pastor Jo Pritchard and Bryan McGarity officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Gann Cemetery in Dallas GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
