Barbara (Shaw) Farr

Barbara Shaw Farr passed away on March 30, 2023. She was born on March 14, 1935, to Don and Georgia Shaw. Barbara was married to the Magistrate Judge, Jim "Tex" Farr, who she loved spending time with and caring for. She loved her family deeply and cherished her time with them. Barbara also enjoyed reading in her spare time. She was an amazing mother, wife, and sister who will be missed.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Georgia Shaw; her stepmother, Ora Belle Shaw; her husband, Jim "Tex" Farr; and her daughter, Sherry Rose. She is survived by her long-time friend and caregiver, Roy Stoy, and two brothers, Doyle (Janet) Shaw and Terry (Nancy) Shaw.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services for Mrs. Farr will be on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth, Georgia.
