She was born March 28, 1935 in Winder, GA to Anna Virginia and James Roy Poole.
Barbara was joyfully married to Ralph Donald Baker for 58 years. She retired from Norfolk Southern. She loved the Lord and her family unconditionally. She could usually be found sitting with a bible or good book in her hand, loving on her pups and kitties.
She is survived by her children Ralph Donald Baker, Jr. (Cindy), Timothy Baker (Felicia), and Neil Baker (Michelle); as well as her grandchildren; Hailey Cohran (Danny), Devin Haney (Austin), Drew Baker, Olivia Baker, Savana Brunet, and Sr Airman Pierre A Brunet II, as well as her great-grandchildren Nathaniel and Samuel Cohran.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Anna and Roy Poole, her loving husband Ralph Baker, her son Harry Lesley Baker, and her grandson Jeff Baker"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 9:30 am at Crosspoint City Church, 325 Old Mill Road Cartersville, GA 30120. Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 with a reception afterwards.
