Arvil Gene Ensley

Arvil Gene Ensley passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. He was born on January 27, 1934 in Chatsworth,GA, son of the late Eugene and Ramey Childers Ensley. He worked for Georgia State Department of Education for 30+ years. Arvil enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Arvil is preceded in death by his five siblings. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Ensley; three step-sons, Danny Purcell (Kali), Coury Purcell and Fred Purcell (Andrea); four grandchildren, Alexandria Purcell, Luke Purcell (Haley), Zoe Purcell, David Purcell.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, October 08, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral Service for Arvil will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday October 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wilson Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Midway Presbyterian Church.
