Mr. Antonio Leija Armendariz passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 60. He was born on May 24, 1966, in San Luis, Mexico, to the late Arnulfo Leija and Maria Armendariz. Antonio made his home in Dallas, Georgia, where he built a life as a dedicated concrete mason in the construction industry.
Antonio was a hardworking man who poured his heart and soul into everything he did, especially his family. He was known for his strength-not just physically, but in his unwavering dedication to providing for his loved ones. Antonio had a passion for collecting, particularly cars, baseball memorabilia, and antiques, which reflected his vibrant personality and interests. He cherished every moment spent with his family and friends, and his spirit will continue to live on in their hearts.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and support, including his significant other and mother of his children, Coneatha Terry; his sons, Antonio (Sunshine) Leija, Marcos Terry, and Justin Terry; his daughters, Carleena (Justice) Terry, Erika (Dalton) Leija, and Maria (Robert) Leija; his grandchildren, Jaydin, Ava, Jaxon, Carolyn, Antonio, and Alex; siblings, Blanca, Laulo, Juan, Petra, Rosa, and Arnulfo; nieces, Tiffany, Christa, and Yaki; and nephew Steven.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026. A visitation will take place at the Clark Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at Sam Clark Chapel at 12:00 PM. Antonio will be laid to rest at Georgia Memorial Park with Antonio Leija, Justin Terry, Marcos Terry, Steven Camago, Robert Beasley, and Dalton Dobbs serving as pallbearers.
