Ricky O'Neal

Mr. Anthony "Ricky" O'Neal passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the age of 67.

Ricky was a dedicated father and pawpaw and friend to all who knew him. He was a long lasting resident of Paulding County and had retired from Shady Vent. He loved being with his grandchildren and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching wrestling, and spending time with his family reminiscing about "the good old days."

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph "Bud" O'Neal and Clara "Sudie" O'Neal. His brothers Russell O'Neal, Kenneth O'Neal, and Chris O'Neal.

He is survived by his daughter, Kayla (John) Atkins, and son, Kevin (Kimberly) O'Neal. His grandchildren, McKenzly Atkins, Aubree Atkins, Logan O'Neal and Baylor O'Neal. His brothers Billy (Penny) O'Neal, and Larry (Mickey) O'Neal, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel. A service for Ricky will be Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 12:00pm at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel with Pastor Branden Fuller officiating. Immediately following, there will be a graveside service for Ricky at Springdale Baptist Church Cemetery, 425 Coots Lake Road, Rockmart, Georgia, with Reverend Mike Bell officiating, and Kevin O'Neal, Brian O'Neal, Chandler O'Neal, John Farmer, Ethan Atkins, Eli White, John Atkins, and Chris Kapas serving as pallbearers.
