Anthony Floyd McLendon

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony "Tony" McLendon, beloved son, father, brother, and grandfather. Tony was born on March 20, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Johnny Marvin and Rebecca Ellen McLendon, and passed away on September 7, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia.

A kind-hearted man known for his generosity, Anthony dedicated much of his life to his work in the residential construction industry as a roofer.

Tony was a family man at heart, and his caring nature shone through in every interaction.

In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth McLendon

He is survived by his son, Wesley (Kelly) Walraven, his siblings; James Barry (Kim) McLendon, Billy McLendon, Marty McLendon, and Alesia Cordell; and his cherished grandchildren, Blake and McKenzie Walraven.

In his leisure time, Tony found joy in playing poker, collecting baseball cards, and spending hours fishing. His enjoyment of life extended to shooting horseshoes and driving fast cars, passions that brought him great happiness and were often shared with loved ones.

In accordance to Mr. McLendon's wishes, his body will be cremated.

Anthony "Tony" McLendon will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
