Anthony "Tony" Dupree

April 12, 1952 — February 16, 2022

Anthony “Tony” Dupree was born in Newnan, Georgia on April 12, 1952, and lived in Dallas, Georgia with his beautiful wife, Lisa, until he went to be with Jesus on February 16, 2022.

Tony was a very godly man who had a deep and intense love for the Lord.

Tony was a very loving, generous, considerate man that would do anything for you, especially if you were his wife, Lisa. He and Lisa were very connected and would do everything together. They loved to travel and took many trips to Hawaii which was a favorite place for them. He very often would bring her flowers, especially if they were unique and different in very bright colors.

Tony worked for the GA Department of Agriculture for over 30 years. He enjoyed working in the yard, traveling, reading his Bible, and doing home improvements.

He loved to laugh and be silly and tell corny jokes. Tony had a very dry sense of humor, always finding something funny in every situation. He claimed to have perfected the perfect cup of coffee.

Tony is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lisa Dupree; his mother, Martha Dupree; brothers, Warren Dupree and Cary Dupree; sister-in-law, Tracey Johnson; brother-in-law, Cliff (Kim) Daniels; niece, Anastasia (Eric) Keith, and great niece, Amelia Keith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Dupree; grandfather, Aubrey Dupree.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. Funeral Services for Mr. Dupree will begin at 3:00pm with Reverend Orlando Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.

Clark Funeral Home is honored to care for the Dupree family during this difficult time.
