Ralph Baker, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully at his home on his 84th birthday on Friday, June 21, 2019. He was born on June 21, 1935 in Atlanta, GA, to the late Earnest and Doris Baker. Mr. Baker worked as a yard clerk for Railroad CSX for 30 years and served at the Paulding County Sheriff’s office as a Sergeant Jailer. In his free time, he greatly enjoyed spending time outdoors and being with his family. Mr. Baker was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed by all his family, who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Harry Baker, daughter, Sandra Coffee Baker, brother, Cecil Baker, and grandson, Jeffery Baker.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years, Barbara Ann Baker of Dallas, GA, sons; Bucky and Cynthia Baker of Fruithurst, AL, Tim and Felicia Baker of Dallas, GA, Neil and Michelle Baker of Dallas, GA, Jody and Rhonda Baker of Hiram, GA, brothers; Larry Baker of Dallas, GA, Paul and Claire Baker of Carrollton, GA, Terry and Beverly Baker of Covington, GA, sister, Virginia Breedlove of Dallas, GA, 10 grandchildren, several great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Baker will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 3:00 PM until the service begins at 4:00 PM.
