Peggy Benedict, age 65, of Hiram, GA, passed away at her home on Friday, May 10, 2019. Mrs. Benedict was born on December 8, 1953 in Atlanta, GA, to John and Mary Benedict.  She worked as an Accounts and Receivable Clerk for Crystal Springs Water and was a faithful member of Cheatham Hill Baptist Church. In her free time, she loved crafting, especially quilting and embroidering. She would also go every Friday morning to the local nursing home and help the residents paint pottery and ceramics. She also had a love for gardening.  Peggy was a loving wife, mother and lived for her dearly loved grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, John William Benedict and her sister, Sheila Davis.

Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Robbie Benedict of Hiram, GA, mother, Mary Benedict of Mableton, GA,  daughters; Stephanie and Steve Homan of Dallas, GA, Kim Francis of Kentucky, brother, Johnny Benedict, sister, Judy Davis, half-brothers; Mark Benedict, Terry Benedict, Darryl Benedict, Glenn Benedict, Lynn Benedict, half-sister, Audrey Ruppenthal,  grandchildren; Michael (Courtney) Dutton, Zachary Dutton, Mallorie Francis, Emily Reimers, Daniel Reimers, Alex Francis, Ella Francis, Lucy Francis, great grandchildren; Josh Dutton, Maci Dutton, Remi Dutton, many nieces and nephews, her fur babies; Buddy and Sabrina and her dear friend, Virginia Puckett.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Peggy Benedict will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home. Internment will follow the service at Barber Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 15 , 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
