Pauline Roberts Allen

Pauline Roberts Allen, age 88, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018. She was born on September 14, 1929, in Tallapoosa, GA, to the late William & Dessie Hicks Roberts, and was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Gordon Roberts, Luna Bell Payne, Mildred Chandler, Dewey Roberts and Florence Shaw. Mrs. Allen retired from Sewell Manufacturing in Bremen, GA, after 40 years of service and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband of 68 years, Carl Wayne Allen of Dallas, GA; daughter, Paulette A. & Carlton Rakestraw of Dallas, GA; grandchildren Wil & Ashley Rakestraw and Allen & Brooke Rakestraw; great-grandchildren, Ashton Rakestraw, Wade Rakestraw, Warner Rakestraw and Kensley Rakestraw; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Hugh Maples and Reverend George Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Ashley Henson, Vaughn Gable, Tab Gable, Tom Baxter, Terry Barnett, Clay Rakestraw and Dennis Payne will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 14, 2018, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
