Lisa Louise Gogal

Lisa Gogal, age 57, of Dallas, Georgia, formerly of Davie, Florida, died Friday morning, July 21, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia, after a brave battle with cancer. Lisa was born on November 2, 1959 in Miami, Florida. She was the daughter of Robert and Corliss (Koch) Greene, who have preceded her in death. She was a 1977 graduate of Cooper City High School. Lisa retired from Publix after 20+ years in Florida and Georgia combined.

Lisa was an avid animal lover.  She especially enjoyed her dogs and her horses, which she rode since childhood and with her friends at Moonlight Stables. Lisa was also an avid Barbershopper & previously involved in Sweet Adelines Quartets and Choruses in both Florida and Georgia.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Andrew M. Gogal, whom she married on June 11, 2011 at Barnsley Gardens in Adairsville, Georgia. Also surviving is her daughter, Sarah Lindvall and her husband, Brian, of New York City, sons, Adam Clay of Japan, and Aaron Clay and his fiancée, Lexi of Orlando, Florida.

Five surviving siblings, brother Robert Greene and his wife Jane of Pasadena,Texas, sister Christine Divo of Webster,Texas, brothers, Dennis Greene of Edgewater, Florida, Gregory Greene of Davie, Florida and Kevin Greene and his wife Joan of Miramar, Florida.

Four step-children survive, Matthew Gogal and his wife Elaine and their daughters Andrea and Olivia of Cheshire, Connecticut, Jessica Tison and her husband Joshua and their son Xavier and daughter Alexis of North Port, Florida, Michael Gogal of Orlando, Florida and Joshua Shulik and his wife Jackie and their son Alexander James of Hainesville, Illinois.

A memorial mass will be held at SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH,  680 West Memorial Drive in Dallas, Georgia at 12:00PM, Monday July 24th. With reception and lunch to follow immediately after the service, which everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Donations in lieu of flowers to should be made to Emory Winship Cancer Institute or to the National Kidney Foundation.
