June Austin Bone, age 89, of Dallas, GA., passed away on March 27, 2018. She was born on July 18, 1928 in Dallas, GA., to the late Noah and Eunice Austin. Ms. Bone owned a Credit Bureau in Austell, GA., and was a member of Corner Baptist Church in Cobb County. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawson R. Palmer, her parents, brother, Ralph Austin, sister, Alta Shipp, and her two sons; Jimmy Palmer and Marvin Bone.
Survivors include her son, Ottis Jr. and Shelbia Bone of Dallas, GA., brother, Starling and Linda Austin of Toccoa, GA., two sisters; Elaine Gibson of Powder Springs, GA., Betty and Taylor Phillips of Douglasville, GA., sister in law, Thelma Austin of Dallas, GA., three grandchildren; Shana and Todd Pope of Cumming, GA., Ryan Palmer of Dallas, GA., Jamie and Seth Holcomb of Dallas, GA., and her two great grandchildren; Tyler Palmer and Ansley Palmer of Dallas, GA. Several nieces and nephews are also survived by her.
Funeral services for Ms. Bone will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Warren and Rev. Johnny Bone officiating. Interment will follow the service at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Park Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Ricky Austin, Kyle Phillips, John Vaughn, and Tyler Palmer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
