Elyvan Mae Milam, age 89, of Temple, GA, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. She was born on May 1, 1930 in Powder Springs, Georgia to her late parents; Burl and Dallie Elsberry. Mrs. Milam worked as a Caregiver for many years and was a faithful member of Draketown Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband of 55 years, Arnold Henson and her granddaughter, Kerri Harris.

Survivors include her loving husband, Robert C. Milam of Temple, GA, children; Larry and Cheryl Henson of Jacksonville, FL, Latha and Melvin Shore of Powder Springs, GA, Lisa and Steve Thomas of Woodstock, GA, Les Henson of Austell, GA, and Cookie Henson of TX, three step-children; Doug and Robbie Donehoo, Chris and Sandra Milam, Sanford and Susan Falkner, brother, Ted and Anne Elsberry of Austell, GA, grandchildren; Erik and Tammy Alford, Ashley and Jerri Alford, Jason and Tommie Richardson, Bradley and Cortney Richardson, Tonya and Walter Green, Lindzie and Ryan Spencer, Dustin Henson, and Kevin Richardson, five step-grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Elyvan Mae Milam will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM with Pastor Richard Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow the service at Powder Springs City Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers; Erik Alford, Ashley Alford, Jason Richardson, Bradley Richardson, Dustin Hanson, Kevin Richardson, and Jake Richardson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to Clarkdale First Baptist Church, located at 5041 Austell Powder Springs Rd. SW, Clarkdale GA. 30111 or Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain, located at 475 Dickson Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064 in memory of Mrs. Milam.
