Donald Florence

Donald Florence, age 79, of Powder Springs, GA. passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. He was born on January 3, 1939 in Powder Springs, GA. to the late Hubert and Norine Florence. Mr. Florence worked at Sweet Water Paperboard for 40 years and retired as a Superintendent. He loved to golf, his work bowling league, and playing cards. He was a farmer at heart and loved to spend his time gardening, especially tomatoes.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Florence of Powder Springs, GA., daughters; Kim Florence of Marietta, GA.; Leah Florence of Virginia; brother, Lindley Florence of Powder Springs, GA.; sister, Ruth LeCraw of Atlanta, GA.; grandchildren, Kyle and Brock Florence of Virginia as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Florence will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Moses Florence officiating. Interment will follow the service at Flint Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
