Carole Annette Palmer, age 74, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. She was born on November 2, 1942, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Irby Herman & Vera Belle Palmer. Ms. Palmer worked as a manager at Mrs. Winners in Charleston, SC and Dallas, GA, as a CNA at Paulding Hospital, Whitlock Nursing Home and in Home Health for many years.  Carole was a member of New Hope First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Carolyn Darlene & Tom Thornhill of Rockmart, GA, Annette DeLane & Mike Frazier of Grayson, GA, Rhetta VonSelle Castillo of Villa Rica, GA, and Willim Joseph & Carrie McCoy of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Janis Irby & Skip Palmer of Dallas, GA, and Rhetta VonSelle (Bonnie) Palmer of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Trisha Thornhill, Robbie Blond & Gina, Tommy & Jessica Thornhill, Beth & Dan Emshoff, Chris Frazier, Stephen Frazier & Madison Hamilton, Nathan & Patricia Nall, Jordan Warner, Brianna Castillo & Richard Hou, Irby McCoy & Dustin Bourque, Lucas McCoy, and Caiden McCoy; great-grandchildren, Nick, Julian, Dani, Roslyn, Blake, Brady, Sadie, and Jacob; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 2 PM, from New Hope First Baptist Church, with Reverend Durwood Perry and Mr. Tommy Leonard officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
