Betty J. Atkins

Betty J. Atkins, age 76, of Douglasville, GA. passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018. She was born on February 7, 1942 in Atlanta, GA., to the late James and Maggie Berry. She was the owner of a clothing store and was a faithful member of Praise Mill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Jerry Atkins Sr. and her parents.

Survivors include her daughters; Debra and John Budny of Powder Spring, GA., Tammy and Ruric Brandt of South Pittsburg, TN., and her 5 grandchildren, Brittany and James Othmer, Seth and Sydney Barclay, Justin Budny, Lachlan Brandt and Rurie Brandt . Several nieces and nephews are also survived by her.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
