Life Legacy
Carole Joan O’Dell, age 70, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012. She was born on March 13, 1942, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Walter and Sarah Hughes, and was preceded in death by her son, Walter Fain Pearson, and daughter, Shirley Yvonne Woodruff. Mrs. O’Dell retired from Bellwood Rock Quarry and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Thomas O’Dell of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry & Linda Hughes of Dallas, Ricky & Susan Hughes of Lynn Haven, FL; and Danny & Elaine Hughes of Dallas; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine & Doug Newberry of Dallas; grandchildren, Brittany Altamirano of Dallas, Trent Pearson of Athens, and Troy Woodruff of Dallas
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 4 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 16, 2012, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
