Biography

Annette D. Gossett, 80 “Granny” of Dallas, formerly of Douglasville, GA passed away December 24, 2009 at her home. Annette is survived by her son, James B. Gossett, III (Bunk) and daughter-in-law, Deborah Gossett, granddaughter, Crystal Sizemore and Tal Sizemore; grandson, Erik Westbrooks and Alicia Westbrooks; great-grandchildren, Jaime Sizemore and Brayden Westbrooks.

Annette graduated from Girl’s High in Atlanta and married the love of her life, James B. Gossett, Jr. in 1947. She began her career with Southern Bell in 1948 and retired with 40 years of service. She was a loving Mom and Granny.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Dr. Curtis Turner officiating. The interment will follow in Westview Cemetery with Tal Sizemore, Erik Westbrooks, Jimmy Jordan, Mike Ivey, Scott Gosssett and Chief Joe Whisenant serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
