Richard "Rick" Ober

Richard “Rick” Ober, age 70, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. He was born on March 3, 1948, in San Bernardino, CA, to the late William & June Ober, and was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Gail Ober Bailey. Mr. Ober worked for as a journeyman in the shipyards in Long Beach, CA, was a loving father and husband and enjoyed joking with his brothers.

Survivors include wife of 19 years, Laura Ober of Douglasville, GA; daughters, Cheryl & Brent Swearingen of Murrieta, CA, Brandy Ober & Tony Gardner of Anaheim, CA, and Denise & Timothy Rivell of Trabuco Canyon, CA; brothers, Randy & Nancy Ober of Kingman, AZ, and Rory Ober of Anchorage, AK; eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In accordance to Mr. Ober’s wishes his body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements
