Jackie Reece, age 78, of Douglasville, GA. (Paulding County) passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018. She was born on October 8, 1939 in Atlanta, GA. and was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Robert Vanburen Ledford and Mrs. Jennie Louise Ledford. She was also preceded in death by husband, Jerry Lamar Reece, SR, and her son, Robert ‘Red’ Ledford. Jackie was a faithful member of Ridge Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Lamar & Linda Reece, of Villa Rica, GA.; daughters, Julie & Tony Barreno of Dallas, GA, and Donna & Gary Buzzard of Temple, GA; grandchildren, Daniel Reece, Amber Davis, Robert Reece, Anthony & Amanda Harper, Nathan & Kristy Harper, and Katelyn Buzzard; as well as, 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Harper officiating . Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Anthony Harper, Mark Harper, Daniel Reece, Chris Reece, Ricky Matthews and Brett Matthews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
